Hands-on Lab

This advanced hands-on lab showcases the canonical MicroCloud platform tightly integrated with Dell PowerFlex block storage. Rather than a step-by-step training for beginners, it is designed as a narrative-driven demo and exploration tool for experienced practitioners who want to demonstrate or evaluate MicroCloud in a realistic multi-node environment. Participants will explore the MicroCloud cluster via both CLI and web UI, validate Ceph and PowerFlex-backed storage pools, provision and manage VMs and system containers, and demonstrate how PowerFlex delivers enterprise-grade block storage, snapshots, and mobility underneath MicroCloud workloads. The lab also includes optional scale-out and node-removal scenarios so presenters can tell a complete story around cluster growth, resilience, and lifecycle operations.
