In most cases, this link aggregation method is considered a superior technology to MLAG. It requires no direct physical cabling between leaf switches, and can utilize up to four VTEP leaf connections, as opposed to only two with MLAG. This doubles the amount of bandwidth and triples the number of redundant links over MLAG
